There are many exciting things coming up in the near future that we need to be much in prayer about that could have eternal effects in the lives of many people. We will be showing the movie “Courageous” on January 28^th in the main auditorium and it is a movie that will speak to everyone, but especially to the men. Encourage and invite all that you can to be here.

On February 5^th, we will see our men fill the choir on Super Bowl Sunday night and hear some wonderful music by them and ask GOD to help us to be MIGHTY MEN OF GOD.

On February 12^th, Dr. Junior Hill will be with us all day as we try to reach the lost and encourage the saints. Let’s pray and prepare by inviting lost people and expecting GOD to do a great work.

Now is a good time to get back to putting GOD first in every area of your life and allowing HIM to fulfill HIS plan for you.

My prayer as pastor is that we will do our part and then claim what GOD says HE will do and see HIS mighty power at work.

Vacation Bible School June 25-29

A Men’s Bible Study class will begin this coming Sunday, January 22^nd at 4:45pm in Room F212. Richard Lee will be the teacher.

Couples Retreat

Blood Pressure Checks – every 3^rd Sunday from 5:30-6pm at the First Aid Room.

Critter Cook – Saturday, February 25^th. Doors will open at 10:30am. Tickets will be $5 each in advance ($10 at the door if we have any left). You MUST have a ticket in order to eat. Also, we will have a special area for vintage automobiles and motorcycles. If you plan to bring yours, contact Wayne Holcombe at the church. Invite unchurched friends and family to come with you. Door Prizes – If you or your business can provide a door prize for the Critter Cook, please see Wayne Holcombe.

A new Bible Fellowship class for ladies (up to age 50) will begin this coming Sunday, January 22^nd in Room F204 at 9:30am. Karen Smith will be the teacher.	Ruth Roper Mission Group – Wednesday, February 1^st at 10am in the Parlor.
Ladies Ministry First Friday Fellowship – Come and join us as we swap coupons, play games, work on crafts, and fellowship with other ladies. Bring a drink and snacks to share and join us in fellowship. Our next meeting is Friday, February 3^rd in Room #3 of the new Social Hall from 5-11pm.		Joyce Smith Mission Group – Tuesday, January 24^th at 7pm in the Parlor.

Sunday, February 5^th we will be having a mission lunch following both morning services.

The menu will be: Ham, Vegetables, Salad and Dessert. Tickets for the lunch will be sold before and after each service on Sundays and Wednesday until February 1^st.

Adult tickets will be $10 and children under 12 will be $5.

Tickets will be required at the door. They are limited and non-refundable. All money goes to help support our college students as they share the good news of JESUS with the students in Panama.

Joyful Hearts

The Joyful Hearts (Widow’s Ministry) will meet Tuesday, January 24^th at 12:00 noon in Rooms 1 and 2 of the new Social Hall. If you are a widow, you are encouraged to join us for a time of inspiration and fellowship. Call Donna Gullette (442-0754) or Dot Ellwanger (859-3011) for reservations.

Movie Night

We will have a special presentation of the movie “Courageous”, on Saturday, January 28^th at 6:00pm. This event is FREE and no tickets are required. Invite family and friends to attend this event. Preschool and nursery childcare will be provided.
